On April 03, 2009 there will be a conference at ASU at the Downtown Campus in Phoenix.
The School of Criminology & Criminal Justice will be sponsoring this public event "Prisoner Reentry: A Twenty-First Century Imperative."
This conference will be in three sessions featuring well-known informative speakers. The speakers will examine issues such as violence, crime prevention, gangs, and strategic problem solving in criminal justice.
You can come and educate yourself on this topic through expert, informative sessions. In addition, you can network with peers within the industry.
This experience is especially beneficial for:
1. Researchers interested in criminal justice
2. Policymakers responsible for shaping public safety or social services
3. Practitioners in criminal justice interested in criminal justice policy, public safety, prisons and prisoner re-entry
4. Students interested in criminal justice issues
Therefore, this is an opportunity not only for agents in the criminal justice system but also for students and really anyone who is interested in criminal justice.
